Your Email Has Changed!
On June 1st, WHCCD launched an all new My Student Email service, powered by Microsoft's Live@EDU. My Student Email will provide students with enhanced features, increased email storage capacity and additional collaboration and communication services. Check out the My Student Email FAQs.
My Student Email Features
- Student email addresses changed to username@my.whccd.edu
Your existing mail will remain open until September 30, 2011. If you need to retrieve content please do so before this date.
- My Student Email offers students 10GB of email storage space. Plus the interface will look the same across common browsers, offering a consistent email experience for students.
- My Student Email brings online collaboration and sharing capabilities with Windows Live SkyDrive. When you login to your My Student Email account, you will be able to store, access and share 25GB of documents, photos and files, plus you can collaborate using free online versions of Excel, PowerPoint, and Word using Office Web Apps and SkyDrive.
My Student Email Launch Day
My Student Email will launch June 1, 2011
On June 1, 2011, in order to use the new My Student Email, you will need to do a one time setup where you enter your credentials. From within My West Hills, you will need to click on the “Enter your Credentials” link in the My Student Email web part. Your “credentials” are your WHCCD assigned username password.
