About CalWORKs Program

The WHCL CalWORKs Program seeks to provide quality educational opportunities and career pathways that enable students to complete their educational goals and find meaningful employment as they transition into the workforce. By promoting post-secondary education, the program empowers students to achieve their personal goals of financial independence.

CalWORKs PROGRAM ELIGIBILITY 
  • Must be enrolled in a credit or non-credit program at Lemoore College 
  • Must receive CalWORKs/TANF benefits for self & children  
  • Must be in an approved County Welfare to Work plan
  • Must be in good academic standing
